| Cooperative Endangered Species Conservation Fund (Section 6 of Endangered Species Act). Four Major Programs described below (1 - 4) in the next four rows: |

1. Conservation Grants (Traditional Section 6 Grants) |
Provide funding to States to implement conservation projects for listed and non-listed species, such as habitat restoration, species status surveys, public education and outreach, captive propagation and reintroduction, nesting surveys, genetic studies and development of management plans. |
Match required; no federal money may be used for matching funds; 25% non-Federal cost-share; or 10% when two or more States implement a joint project; Territories are exempt from matching requirements. |

2. Habitat Conservation Planning (HCP) Assistance |
