Pygmy Rabbit Studies are taking place on both Sheldon NWR and Hart Mtn NAR.

Sage Grouse studies continue on both refuges. Lek counts are actively taking place in the spring. Other studies include Bighorn Sheep, Coyote Predation, Antelope Populations, Riparian Conditions, Horse and Burro Populations, Joint Fire Science Project, and Song Bird Vegetation.
