Public Access The public is not allowed on any of the islands because wildlife on the island can be very sensitive to disturbance. There is also no docking facilities and island resources are very limited. Wildlife is best viewed from a boat in the ocean because many seabird colonies are located on rocky cliffs not visible from land and those that nest underground can best be observed when they are feeding at sea. It is recommended that those wishing to experience the islands partake in a local whale watching or birding tour. Contact the nonprofit Oceanic Society or other whale watching companies for details. Restrictions: Disturbing wildlife at any time is a citable violation. All violations are reported by island personnel.
