Volunteering
Where
can you watch wildlife by a river that flows to the sea? The wetlands
of Tijuana Slough or Sweetwater Marsh NWRs give that precious gift
to thousands of visitors every year. Become a volunteer at one of
our visitor centers, become a bird monitor, volunteer in our education
programs and help conserve the view for future generations. No experience
required!
Do you live inland? Love butterflies? Wildflowers in the spring? Cool
riverine corridors? The wonderful expanse of Coastal Sage and Chaparral?
Then, volunteer at the Otay-Sweetwater Unit of the San Diego NWR in
Rancho San Diego.
We need your lifetime of knowledge and experience. We’ll train you
- and you choose the hours!
