We have some species accounts for 4th, 5th and 6th grade students, including:

Ashy Storm-Petrel

On October 16, 2007, the Service received a petition from the Center for Biological Diversity to list the ashy storm-petrel as threatened or endangered, and to designate critical habitat for the species.

On August 15, 2008, we published our determination that the petition presented substantial information that listing may be warranted.

We will complete our review and publish a final determination by February 16, 2009. News Release. Contact: Matt Baun (530) 843-5763.
