Invertebrates make up the largest portion of the animal kingdom..

An Invertebrate is any animal without a backbone or spinal column; any animal other than a fish, amphibian, reptile, bird or mammal. Invertebrates include spiders, bees, worms, insects and jelly fish, to name a few.
