Bison On The Refuge Since March 2007Join with your Denver neighbors for a wildlife experience. Leave behind the congestion of the suburbs and the city, and for a few hours experience the natural world where shortgrass prairie restoration is in full swing. Located just 11 miles northeast of downtown Denver this tour is available each Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday except for holidays. Wildlife you may see on the tour includes, bison, coyotes, raptors, mule and white-tailed deer and many song birds.
