Wildlife Viewing Tours

Two-hour wildlife viewing tours are available through out the year. The frequency of tours that are offered vary with each season. Please refer to the Wild News program schedule for latest information under "Wild Rides" or call the number below. Rreservations are required for this free program.

WILDLIFE VIEWING TOURS

Bison On The Refuge Since March 2007

 

 

Join with your Denver neighbors for a wildlife experience. Leave behind the congestion of the suburbs and the city, and for a few hours experience the natural world where shortgrass prairie restoration is in full swing. See some wildlife that is next door to the city!

 

 

 

Located just 11 miles northeast of downtown Denver this tour is available each Wednesday and Saturday except for holidays. Wildlife you may see on the tour includes, bison, coyotes, raptors, mule and white-tailed deer and many song birds. Cameras, binoculars, and video cameras are welcome.
