Sponsored by Commerce City, Bass Pro Shops, Shamrock Foods, and the US Fish and Wildlife Service who will host a walk through the Refuge to jump start the holiday. Don’t forget to bring your sunscreen and water! Strollers are welcome.

FISHING FRENZY

Calling all young anglers ages 3 – 15 years old!
This derby is for you and filled with action, crafts and lots of fishing! Prizes will be awarded in each fishing category. Visit the skill booths to learn about casting, knot tying, fish ethics, water safety, fish identification, and fly tying. Then get your picture taken with a pro angler. Be sure to take a special tour to see the bison before you leave! Lunch will be provided by Friends of the Front Range Wildlife Refuges for a minimal charge.
