Low daisy is a

  • Perennial herb usually ten inches tall with a woody rootstock and several sticky, branched stems.
  • Inflorescence (flowering part of the plant) has many white-pinkish or purplish ray (ligulate flower) florets, yellow disk (small flowers) florets and one row of hairy, sticky bracts.
  • Leaves are two inches, fleshy and twisted.

Low daisy grows in dry places like thickets, mesas, and sandy hillsides.
