Sand sagebrush is a freely branching, drought tolerant, rounded crown, and aromatic shrub growing up to 4 feet tall. It flowers August to September, and reproduces from seeds. Sand sagebrush provides ground cover for many wildlife species and is abundant in the southwestern USA.
