RECREATIONAL FISHING FEE
A $3.00 recreational fishing fee (cash or check) will be charged for anglers 16 years of age and older. The fee covers fishing for one full day.

Various Refuge projects are paid for in part by the $3.00 recreational use fee required to fish at RMA. Each time you come out and fish, not only do you have a chance to land a monster Northern pike or lunker Largemouth bass, but you also contribute to improving the Refuge fishing program.

Self Check-In Kiosk
To better facilitate fishing, the Visitor Center (VC) parking lot kiosk has envelopes, directions and a deposit box.

• Anglers will be responsible for completing the information on the envelope and depositing the correct amount of money for each day of fishing at the Refuge.
• The Refuge staff does not have change available.
• Checks should be made out to US Fish & Wildlife Service.
• If questions arise while completing the self check-in, the VC staff is available to assist from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm.
• The fishing fee is as follows:*$3.00 per adult (16 yrs and older)

*This fee includes up to 5 children accompanied by an adult.
