Good News! Orientations No Longer Required
New for 2008: The Fishing Program at the Refuge will no longer require anglers to attend the yearly Fishing Orientation to obtain a Fishing Permit. Starting in 2008, anglers will instead be required to read, sign and have in their possession a 2008 Fishing Rules and Regulations at the Refuge, site safety issues, what type of bait is allowed, types of hooks, and general fishing information. Print an ON-LINE COPY.
Fishing Rules and Regulation brochures will be available for free at the Fishing Kiosk where the $3.00 a day fishing fee is paid. Or you can PRINT IT OFF THIS WEBSITE, read, sign and bring with you on your fishing days.
Remember, in 2008 anglers must present their 2008 Fishing Rules and Regulations brochure, $3 daily fee receipt, a valid Colorado fishing license and valid ID every time they fish. Children under 16 do not need a Colorado fishing license but need to be with an adult who has one.
