Two Ponds National Wildlife Refuge
Two Ponds NWR is managed for the benefit of vanishing wetlands and native wildlife species. Refuge habitats include wetlands, riparian woodlands, and prairie grasslands. Land management tools include water level manipulation, removal of non-native invasive plant species, re seeding of native prairie habitat, mowing, and noxious weed control.
The National Refuge System is a living heritage, conserving wildlife and habitat for people today and generations to come.

The on-going development of environmental education programs include a mixture of appropriate activities that provide visitor access without compromising the protection of the habitat.
