Volunteer Training Series 2013

Refuge volunteers restore important habitat, teach students, and inform visitors. Without them the refuge would not be the best place for animals and nature lovers in southwest Washington! Join us this spring to learn how you can help keep the refuge healthy and share your passion with visitors of all ages.

Field Trip Open House – April 5th, 9am to 1pm
Volunteer Educator Training - April 16th & 17th, 9 am to 3 pm.

BirdFest & Bluegrass

Early October (Dates to be announced.) - Join the Friends of Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS) as we celebrate the arrival of fall and the wildlife that make the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge their winter home. BirdFest & Bluegrass is a unique opportunity to enjoy not only the sights and sounds of fall migration but also a festive celebration of music, children's' activities, food, and fun in the Ridgefield community. Second Sundays at the Plankhouse
