  Recreation and Education Opportunities

Hunting
Hunters are required to have a refuge permit and a valid hunting license for the state in which they are hunting.

Waterfowl Season: Refuge will be open in accordance with each states' season. The refuge will be open to deer hunting with bow and arrow only during the state hunting seasons. Small Game Season: Refuge will be open for squirrel in accordance with each states' season. Intrepretation Programs for gourps are available upon request

Wildlife Observation
Refuge roads, trails and waterways are available for wildlife observation, photography.

Hours
Refuge is open only during day light hours. Unpaved roads will be closed during wet conditions to prevent rutting of roads.
