  Recreation and Education Opportunities

Environmental Education
Special group trips (school groups, scouts, etc.) are encouraged. Guided group tours may sometimes be arranged in advance by contacting the refuge.

Fishing
Fishing is permitted by boat in Bryant's Creek.

Hunting
Anterless deer hunting is allowed by special permit only. The refuge is closed to all other hunting.

Interpretation
Interpretive information is provided in the visitor center and at the observation deck near the office.

Wildlife Observation
The wildlife drive offers opportunities to see and photograph bald eagles, waterfowl, songbirds, and shorebirds.

Hours
Refuge Headquarters and Visitor Center - Open 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday - Friday. Wildlife Drive/Outdoor Facilities - Open daily, dawn to dusk (year-round).

Entrance Fees
