 Sevilleta NWR offers educational opportunities for teachers and their students all year and is an ideal setting for an outdoor classroom for students in grades K-12. Please contact the Refuge for more information on environmental education programs.
 Sevilleta NWR's Unit A and Unit B are open to limited hunting of ducks and doves. Only non-toxic shot is permitted. Please check with the refuge manager for additional rules and regulations. State and Federal hunting regulations regarding methods of take, dates, bag limits, etc. apply to all hunting on the refuge, in addition to refuge specific regulations.
 Staff and volunteer guided programs are offered on a monthly basis; please contact the Refuge for more information.
 The Unit A and Unit B areas are open to wildlife viewing. They are also wonderful locations to observe and photograph migrating shorebirds and waterfowl. Please contact refuge manager for dates and times. 
 The Refuge Visitor Center is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 am - 4:00 pm, excluding Federal Holidays.
