Fishing
The refuge is open for waterfowl hunting only during the State seasons. Because it is a navigable waterway, boating and fishing are permitted on Boggy Creek along the west side of the refuge boundary.

Hunting
Hunting is allowed at the refuge. State regulations apply. Please contact the refuge office for details on areas open for public hunting. The refuge's public hunting areas are popular with younger hunters due to its walk-in access.
