  Recreation and Education Opportunities

Fishing
The only regulations in effect are Idaho game laws. However there are no fishing opportunities, as there are no fish.

Hunting
Waterfowl hunting can be good when there is water in the marsh. The marsh usually freezes over by late November. The only regulations in effect are Idaho game laws.

Wildlife Observation
There is some good birding for water birds, but mostly on foot. The entire area is open to foot traffic, or small boat. The marsh is shallow and filled with vegetation; it is not conducive to motorized or large boats.
