Interpretation
An interpretive trail and regularly scheduled tours are available during the non-nesting season at the Kii Unit of the refuge.

Wildlife Observation
Public use is welcome from the third Saturday in October through the third Saturday in February and closed during the rest of the year for the stilt breeding season. Guided public tours are offered on Thursdays and Saturdays. Contact the refuge office to reserve a space on the tour at 808-637-6330, option 3.

Public use is welcome from the third Saturday in October through the third Saturday in February and closed during the rest of the year for the stilt breeding season. Guided public tours are offered on Thursdays, 4:00-5:30 p.m., and on Saturdays, 9:00-10:30 a.m., on the first two Saturdays of the month, and 3:30-5:00 p.m. on the remaining Saturdays. Contact the refuge office to reserve a space on the tour at 808-637-6330, option 3.

The refuge office at 66-590 Kamehameha Highway in Haleiwa, on the north shore of Oahu, is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
