Continued . . . The nature trail surface is made of compact small gravel. From the parking lot to the wetland observation deck, the grade of the year-round nature trail does not exceed 5%. From May 1 through September 30, visitors are also permitted to walk 3 miles of gravel service roads. From October 1 to April 30, these roads are closed to all public entry to provide sanctuary for wildlife. |
