The Friends of Deer Flat Wildlife Refuge was recently awarded a Preserve America grant by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to collect oral histories to research the history of Lake Lowell and Deer Flat and to construct a historical interpretive trail across the Upper Dam at the lake. |
