2nd Annual National Master Naturalist Conference to be held November 7-9
Woodlands Radisson, Flagstaff, Arizona

This dynamic conference will benefit professionals involved in coordinating and/or administering volunteer programs in natural resource conservation, education, and outreach. Session topics include recruitment and marketing, curriculum development & delivery, liability issues, creating and working effectively in partnerships, group dynamics and conflict resolution, volunteer retention, and program evaluation.

This conference will also unveil the formation of a new national organization, the Alliance of Natural Resource Outreach & Service Programs (ANROSP), a network of natural resource professionals who administer community-based environmental outreach and stewardship programs. The Alliance is a nexus for resource and information exchange to implement and enhance citizen-science environmental programs across the United States.

Representatives from different national organizations interested in interacting with the Alliance and its member programs are invited to attend and learn more about ANROSP, and to participate in a panel discussion about creating and maintaining partnerships.

Additional conference information, including registration form, call for presentations, schedule, off-site sessions, travel and lodging can be obtained on the conference Web site at http://extension.missouri.edu/masternaturalist/nationalconference. For further details, contact Celeste Mazzacano, Project Coordinator, at cmazzacano@gmail.com.
