Pathfinder Field Science Project, Wyoming
The Pathfinder Field Science Project will incorporate the interdisciplinary approach of environmental education into Natrona County School District curriculum by introducing students to Pathfinder NWR and its conservation purposes. Schools, natural resources professional, and community members will join together to engage in scientific inquiry, hands-on conservation projects, and community action. Students will learn to utilize observation skills, scientific methodology, and community resources to formulate questions and hypothesize solutions. The students' inquiries will culminate in the design and implementation of a PNWR stewardship project that will nurture a greater understanding of conservation issues in Wyoming.
