Overlooking D Pool on Marshland Wildlife Drive, the loon observation deck is a good place to look for wildlife. The best time to see common loons is from June through September. Other birds and wildlife visible from the deck include bald eagles, trumpeter swans, Canada geese, ssprey, muskrat, otter and painted turtles.

• The deck is open daily, dawn to dusk from May 15 - October 15.
• Holding up to 15 people comfortably, the deck has a universal design and access.
• There are two mounted spotting scopes to accommodate most visitors.
