Bald eagles to blue-winged teals, sandhill cranes to snow geese, puffins, boobies and purple gallinules – hundreds of birds show off their colors and their intriguing habits on national wildlife refuge, where refuge staff and volunteers are eager to help you identify birds, show you trails and photo blinds or invite you to a festival.
