Event Description: The Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge celebrates its 75th Anniversary in 2014. In honor of this event, Forsythe is hosting a spring series of lectures as part of our “Evenings at Forsythe” series that focuses on several different elements of the refuge. Join us to learn more! Evenings at Forsythe: The Wetlands of Forsythe NWR - Freshwater marshes, fens, impounded wetlands, and of course salt marsh make up over 80% of Forsythe. Learn from Coastal Biologist Bill Crouch what makes Forsythe’s wetlands special and important to birds and other wildlife.
