Event Description: Fall Color Float - Early celebration for National Wildlife Refuge Week. Take a beautiful float down the Manistique River and see the beautiful fall colors. Join refuge staff for a 4-5 hour canoe/kayak trip October 5th, 2013. Early October is a beautiful time to visit the Refuge as the leaves will be changing color. Pack a lunch, dress for the weather (could be warm or cool), and remember to pre-register so we know that you're coming. Bring your own boat or rent one from one of the local outfitters.
