April 20: Ferrets and Sea Turtles and Wolves! Oh My! - 7 pm, at the Refuge Visitor Center. Canaan Valley NWR's Deputy Refuge Manager Richard Zane will present this program on his career experiences with various U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service programs and projects. Before arriving in Canaan Valley in August 2011 Zane spent time working on projects across the United States involving sea turtles, wolves, and even ferrets! Come hear Richard's presentation, share his experiences through photos and discussion, and get an appreciation for the work that the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service does.
