Guest Speaker Series: "Black Skimmers in an Urban Landscape: Seabird Breeding & Environmental Contamination in San Diego Bay" by Chris Millow, San Diego State University (SDSU) Graduate Student.
Did you know that one of San Diego's most stunning seabird residents isn't doing so hot?
As strict fish-eaters located higher on the food chain, Black Skimmers (Rynchops niger) may be at an increased risk of accumulating harmful environmental contaminants. Join us to learn more about skimmer natural history and this collaborative research effort between SDSU and the San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge.
