Buenos Aires NWR hosts its 4th annual Grassland Fair Sat. Nov. 17, with the theme "Birds, Bats, and Butterflies!" This festive event features activities for the whole family, with live mariachis, Aztec dancers, presentations on birds, bats, and butterflies, live animal demonstrations, food, arts and crafts, and kids' activities. A children's art contest will be on display. The visitor center is at milepost 8 on highway 286, 60 miles southwest of Tucson. |
