In honor of National Wildlife Refuge Week and to formally initiate a schedule of upcoming weekend birding and nature walks on Refuge nature trails, the San Luis NWR will be hosting two guided nature walks; the first on Sunday, October 14th, and the second on Saturday, October 20th. A USFWS staff member will lead the walks and convey information about the Refuge and its wildlife. Each walk will begin at 9 a.m. and last one to two hours.
No reservation or rsvp is necessary for the nature walks; simply meet at the San Luis NWR Visitor Center located at 7376 S. Wolfsen Road, Los Banos, 93635. |
