| Event Description: |
MARSH! Volunteer Day. Join the Montezuma Alliance for the Restoration of Species and Habitats at the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge on our last volunteer work day of the season. We'll travel the refuge's Tschache Pool by canoe to collect bathymetry (water level) data. Biologists will then take that data to produce a map of the pool, a useful tool when managing water levels and invasive plants! Lunch provided by the Friends of the Montezuma Wetlands Complex. Bring your own or borrow one of our canoes. PLEASE SIGN UP IN ADVANCE by calling 315-568-5987. |
