Halloween Adventure: The Wild Night Life of the Refuge As dusk creeps across the sky and breezes relax, for some, the day is just beginning. Night life is awakening on nature's wild side. Familes are invited out for an afternoon and evening of fun and learning about the animals that are active at night - bats, owls, coyotes, and creepy crawlers. 2:30pm - 4:00pm 'Bats of North Dakota' program, and 'Build a Bat House' activity, 4:00pm - 4:30pm 'Neighborhood Coffee' - grab a cup of coffee and visit with Audubon Refuge Partners Volunteers, browse through the exhibit hall, or shop in the Prairie Pond Store, 4:30pm - 7:00pm - Halloween programs for youth include a nocturnal wildlife presentation and craft, nocturnal nature hike, and supper. Pre-registration is required. |
