This unit specifically protects threatened and endangered species like Contra Costa goldfields, vernal pool tadpole shrimp, and California tiger salamanders. Hear how the Act protects these species and more. Wildflower blooms and dipping for California tiger salamander larvae will be dependent on the amount of rain received in the winter.
