Generally, waterfowl production areas are established to allow for wildlife habitat and public use relating to wildlife. Recreation and activities that do not directly involve wildlife or that will disrupt the habitat or disturb the wildlife are not allowed. Other examples of prohibited activities include:
 

• Access by means other than on foot only 
• Dogs off-leash, unless hunting
• Camping or overnight use 
• Littering
• Picking or destroying flowers, shrubs or any other living vegetation
• Open fires
• Use or possession of alcoholic beverages while hunting

Other hunting regulations follow standard state and federal laws, including the required use of non-toxic shot on waterfowl and upland game.
