The gently rolling hills, deep ravines and bottomlands laced with creeks make Washita National Wildlife Refuge an excellent place to watch and enjoy wildlife.
Enjoy hunting on public lands. The refuge offers hunting opportunities for geese, sandhill cranes, quail, rabbits, and deer.
Teachers are encouraged to come out and use the refuge as an outdoor classroom. Bring your students to enjoy, explore and learn!
