Hwy 100 Road work:
The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced that construction will begin on Illinois Route 100 from Ski Lift Road, just east of Grafton, to 2 miles north of IL 16 in Jersey County on Tuesday, August 13, 2013, weather permitting. Daytime lane closures will be utilized to repair and resurface the existing roadway. Two-way traffic will be maintained using flaggers and traffic control devices. This work is estimated to be completed by December 1, 2013.
Delays are expected so please plan accordingly. IDOT asks that motorists be patient, reduce speed, obey all warning signs, and use additional caution when traveling near and throughout this work zone.
Access to the refuge will still be available during the construction.
