Spring Community Planting EventMay 11, 2013
HELP US CELEBRATE INTERNATIONAL MIGRATORY BIRD DAY!
Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge and Spokane Audubon Society will host a community work party on Saturday, May 11, 2013.
Numerous partners and individuals participate in our semiannual community planting events held during the spring and fall. This ongoing community effort restores native riparian habitat to benefit birds and other wildlife species. We have hundreds of native saplings to plant. We will also erect fencing at the project site to protect the trees from deer, elk, and moose browsing. Everyone is welcome to participate!
