Availability and conditions of blinds may vary throughout the season. Chest waders are needed for space & disabled blinds as hunters may be wading through some swales. Hunters are responsible for bringing additional camouflage as available natural cover may be limited at individual blinds, or 'brushing' may deteriorate as the season progresses. Blind S5 no longer exists. Due to maintenance and upkeep costs, the Boat-to-Blinds are no longer available. There are no navigable waterways for hunting on Stone Lakes NWR.
