On Saturday, October 3, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sherburne NWR will host its annual celebration of wildlife! It will begin with a 5K run/walk through the refuge. Stan Tekiela, who is a author and wildlife photographer, will be a featured presenter. Other activities include live birds, horse-drawn wagon rides, nature crafts, bird education, wildlife discover, Eagle's Nest Nature Store, silent auction and food. The even is FREE, but there is a small fee for the 5K and food. The even will be hosted on the south side of CR 9 on Old Schoolhouse Road.
