Law Enforcement officers at Patoka River NWR help visitors understand and obey refuge regulations and wildlife protection laws. They work closely with state and local government offices to enforce federal and state laws with an emphasis on hunting and fishing regulations. Enforcement actions protect the public, fish, wildlife, and plants from disturbances associated with illegal activities.
