Let’s Go Outside!

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service sponsored site providing resources to get children outside. It is for formal and non-formal educators. It includes links to student activities, Boy Scout and Girl Scout recognition certificates, curriculum resources and activities, community service projects, professional development opportunities, and background information.
 

Neighborhood Explorers

An interactive site with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service where kids learn about and explore nature.
 

Partners in Flight

This site provides many links to educational materials on birds, including Migratory Bird Day educational resources. Relevant resource links include International Migratory Bird Day, Bird Education Resources, and PIF Publications (PIF Resource Directory, Education Web Sites).
 

Children and Nature Network

The Children & Nature Network (C&NN) was created to encourage and support the people and organizations working nationally and internationally to reconnect children with nature. The network provides a critical link between researchers and individuals, educators and organizations dedicated to children's health and well-being.
 

Nature Rocks

The Nature Conservancy's Nature Rocks program aims to inspire and empower families to play and explore in nature. Their mission is to make it easy for you to have fun in nature, and connect with others to do the same. This site will help you find all sorts of nature activities, plus tools to help guide and plan your adventures. You’ll also find useful tips and information to help you get into nature without getting over your head. Your kids will be happier, healthier and smarter.
 

Be Out There

The National Wildlife Federation has a goal to get 10 million kids outside, running, and playing. The site provides ideas, tools, and activities, to get children outside. Your child is one in a million, take the pledge to Be Out There and make them one of 10 million.
