US Fee Area Logo, yellow triangle with white circle

Because the Visitor Center will be on restricted hours, we have installed an “Iron Ranger” (located at Visitor Center Parking Area Kiosk) to allow visitors to pay fees for the scenic drives when the Center is closed. Visitors with a current Bison Range season pass, a Federal Recreation Area Pass, or their Federal Migratory Bird Stamp (Duck Stamp) will not need to use this. These passes may be purchased when the Visitor Center is open.

Day Passes to the Bison Range:

Private vehicle - $5.00
Commercial van - 5 or less people - $5.00
Commercial van - 6-10 people - $10.00
Commercial van - over 10 people - $12.00
Bus and Tour Groups - $25.00
Bison Range Season Pass - $15 (Valid for one year from date of issue)

Federal Duck Stamp - $25.00 (valid July 1 to June 30 of year purchased)

Federal Parks and Recreational Lands Passes
Annual Pass - $80.00 (valid for one year from date of issue)
Senior Pass - $10.00 (for US citizens 62 years of age or older)
Access Pass – FREE (for US citizens with a permanent disability)
Military Pass – FREE (for US military personnel and their dependents)

The Senior and Access passes are good for the lifetime of the holder and make available (to the pass holder only) 50 percent discounts on some expanded amenity fees. Paper versions of the Golden Age or Golden Access Passports can be exchanged for the new Senior or Access passes.

For the first time, decals and hangtags are available: decals for those who park open-topped vehicles (like Jeeps) or motorcycles at unstaffed federal recreation sites, and hangtags for those who anticipate parking closed vehicles at unstaffed facilities that charge a fee.
