Volunteers provide their skills and energy for habitat restoration efforts, clean-up projects, office work, and wildlife monitoring. We invite you to learn from first hand experiences. By volunteering you'll gain knowledge about the district, its purpose, and become involved in the stewardship of wildlife, natural landscapes, and quality of life for people in the local communities.
Occasionally the district has a specific volunteer opportunity to be filled. On these occasions we list a job description at the multi-federal agency volunteer site: www.volunteer.gov. You may search for Minnesota Valley Wetland Management District using the zip code 55425. For more information on how to get involved, please contact the district's Volunteer Coordinator.
Resource Management Internships are now posted for the summer of 2015. Click here for more information and how to apply.
