A special partnership exists with the non-profit group, Friends of Rice Lake Refuge, which formed in October 2002. The Friends have approximately 80 members. The Friends support and enhance the public’s role in fish and wildlife habitat protection. To reach a Friends member, contact the refuge office at 218-768-2402.
