US Fish and Wildlife Service works with the SCA Student Conservation Association to offer refuge work experiences to interested persons looking for experience with US Fish and Wildlife Service. Please look for job postings as they appear on the SCA website.
More than 42,000 people volunteer their time and ideas each year to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. This 7,300 acre Refuge, established in 1992, takes a lot of work to maintain. We depend on volunteers to help in many ways. At Marais des Cygnes, a Volunteer is anyone who assists the Refuge staff with projects, daily tasks, or programs. We can help to build a Volunteering experience around you and your needs and wants. Volunteers commute from local communities to help at Marais des Cygnes National Wildlife Refuge.
