For Educators

MallardDucks_512x219The Little River National Wildlife Refuge invites educators to bring their school or class rooms out to the refuge for an outdoor educational experience.

The refuge supports environmental education programs, and educators are encouraged to utilize the area as an outdoor classroom. Educational opportunities are available to schools, scouting groups, and other interested parties.

Refuge staff members are available to give programs at your school and serve as a tour guide on field trips to the refuge. Education programs are tailored to meet the needs of your class or group. Class presentations or tours may be scheduled by contacting the Refuge Headquarters by phone at 580-584-6211 or email refuge staff.
