Entrance Fees

Alligator_512x219Paying the entrance fee or purchasing your federal passes at Laguna Atascosa National Wildlife Refuge directly benefits the refuge.  All the proceeds are used to maintain and improve the visitor services program, directly benefiting you - the visitor.

Entrance fees are charged whether visitors are walking, driving or bicycling on the refuge. All vehicles must display a valid daily entrance pass.

The first Sunday of every month is FREE! However, all visitors are still asked to check in.

The refuge is open to visitors daily from sunrise - sunset.  When the visitor center is closed, visitors must use the self-pay kiosk located outside the visitor center front doors.
