Deer Management Plan

CCPThe U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has developed a deer management plan to ensure public safety, help maintain healthy wildlife habitats and keep the size of the deer herd at a healthy level in and around Tinicum Marsh.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will begin implementing a deer management plan in 2014 at John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge. After extensive public participation and in close coordination with our expert partners, this action will ensure public safety, help maintain healthy wildlife habitats and keep the size of the deer herd at a healthy level in and around Tinicum Marsh.
